Little gem in a place out of time. The medieval exterior.

The staff always very kind! Very careful in the control of the car, have verified problems that we did not remember to say and have them fixed! Well the courtesy car supplied for one day, for free!
The Church of Santa Maria della Castagna in Genova Quarta is recognizable from Corso Europa looking towards the sea at the junction for the Genova Nervi toll booth. The Church is very beautiful although not easily accessible. It is possible to obtain plenary indulgence under the canonical conditions because this parish, then in a rural area and sufficiently distant from Genoa, welcomed and protected Pope Pius VII during his kidnapping wanted by Napoleon! The church, dedicated to the Madonna, is richly adorned and held with much honor and faith by the parish priest! A visit is definitely recommended!
