Excellent products at fair prices keeping in mind the complete craftsmanship of the same. The owner, mr. Battista, is passionate about the work he has been conducting for many years, and generous with explanations on its production (the laboratory is adjacent to the store and can be visited on request). Highly recommended.

I am a camper who in Avola discovered the artisanal fish products of Mr. Battista Spugnetti. I had tried others of various Sicilian brands, but I find these are the best tasted so far and at cheaper prices. I was very satisfied.

Talk about someone who hardly eats fish at all ... the night before we arrived late on the bike and so we were satisfied with what the fishmonger sponges on the corner had ... The next day we find the extremely kind owner, she who prepares and packs every single jar with her hands, she who knows more about preserves and tuna than the sea itself !!! We have made a culture, the yellow fin that we thought was the best instead comes from the ocean and is loaded with mercury etc ... the red instead is the king of tuna ... then the long wing ... the tuna that the smaller the taste is sweeter ... the bonito ... I almost learn to eat it, in the evening my parents say that for how good it is "it doesn't even look like tuna" ... as we are used to believing that the canned one they pretend it REALLY IS !!! They also ship home ... very good and highly recommended.
