Hotel Matera Old Convicino Rooms Suites & SPA

A great central location! Reception and breakfast area sit in the carved cave! The stonework hotel rooms are spacious and the beds are cozy! The staff was very friendly and helpful! The breakfast spread was impressive! Loved everything about this place. Will try the spa out next time!

Big disappointment 😔😫 We had a room downstairs No. 30. Very small, small bathroom, mini bar, bed (comfortable). But that's still bearable. Very poorly working air conditioning. With the immense heat of August and high prices, air conditioning should be prepared. What else was messy and not in line with European law was copying an identity document. Upon attention, I was told that it was so convenient for them. I know we slept in the hot season in August but the value for money to quality ratio is unacceptable 🤕🤒🤧😒

The hotel was far beyond our expectations. The location is what you expect in matera, a lot of stairs and ups and downs, so pack little. Our room was in a old house/cavern recently renovated and new. The bed was amazing and the bathroom also. The breakfast was particular good with a lot a variety. Would return.
