Fab hotel, amazing location. We really enjoyed our stay. Wished it was for longer.

Great place to stay, nice staff, and charming rooms. Certain aspects need to be reviewed. Tried to have dinner at the hotel’s restaurant, no availability. Would have been nice to be messaged the day before to ask whether we wanted to book. Room needs some maintenance. Insanely loud air conditioner. No safe which is a must in a 5 star. Bathroom was way too warm. Plumbing needs to be reviewed, shower head filled with limestone so water is sprayed everywhere. Spa is nice. Needs some maintenance as well. No aromas in the aromatherapy showers nor in the turkish bath. Water does not come out as it should because of limestone. Pool water foutain needs maintenance again because of limestone. Weird time arrangements for access. Booked for 7pm but could only access pool at 7.30. Breakfast is nice but a bit slow. Menu missing. No bar available for drinks. Apart from that, very happy to visit again, since it’s a great location and charming hotel.

Very beautiful rooms! A real 5 star hotel! Kind and professional people! The breakfast is excellent! All fresh and homemade! Also the restaurant just beside a real must! Typical ingredients from the region in a very special way prepared! Enjoy it

Worst customer service in Matera. Avoid at all costs!

First rate five star hotel in every respect. Best location in the Sassi.
