In the main square of Jesi stands the beautiful Cathedral of San Settimio. I arrived from Porta Valle, so after a nice climb made up of alleys, I found myself in this large square on which the Cathedral stands on its right. The magnificently worked entrance door is immediately striking. The side chapels, the altar, the crucifix and the Latin writings are striking. Above all, however, I was struck by the remains of San Floriano. He looks like a sleeping kid. It is a basilica rearranged in the eighteenth century, on the original one of the 7-8 century. All anti-covid19 safety regulations are respected. A must see !!
