For the first time I visited Jesi and after seeing the square, the Cathedral, the "Stupor Mundi" Museum, I walked under a scorching sun towards the course. This Church appeared to me as a shock, for its style, its might, its color that stood out against the white background. Unfortunately it was closed and I was unable to visit it. As I approached I saw a notice with a phone number for any inquiries and the name of the Church. I was struck by the entrance portal and its arch, as well as the reference to the Templars. As a scholar and a lover of the Middle Ages, I cannot fail to return just to see the inside of this fascinating and mysterious (so I imagine) Church.

The church of San Nicoló is a deconsecrated church in Jesi. The facade is in Romanesque style. Unfortunately, finding it closed on November 1st (morning), I can't give it more than a little star. It will be for the next.

Beautiful deconsecrated church. Usually there are various exhibitions. The Romanesque interior is very beautiful. Absolutely not to be missed.
