B&B Alfrantoio Valderice

Good news first: this place served the best breakfast during our three weeks round trip through Sicily. Bad news: this is definitely the B&B we enjoyed the least (out of 12 on our trip) to the point that we were reluctant to go back (we stayed two nights). Why? - First of all, the room had an extremely unpleasant smell of sewage and mustiness we only managed to alleviate by switching on the AC. - Secondly, we were disappointed to discover that the photos on the website of this B&B are pretty deceiving: the rooms are located on top of an olive oil processing plant, so basically the immediate view is one of a parking. The "terrace" our room had, was actually the flat roof of the storage space below. - The decoration of the room itself is very gloomy and dated (artificial flowers everywhere, old sofa, plastic chairs). Bottom line: at 50-55 euro this would be an interesting budget option. At the current price however (70€) I'm reluctant to recommend this B&B.

Highly recommended! We only stayed 1 night, unfortunately !! Beautiful setting, with a breathtaking view of the terrace! The rooms are very clean and well maintained. The owners of the mill are very helpful and friendly! Iolanda, however, magnificent! Super sweet! He made us a tasty breakfast! We were sorry to leave! Really very beautiful! Surely we will return only just for the pleasure of enjoying other breakfasts! 😍

Location out of the ordinary with regards to the management of the nice lady Iolanda, her original and tasty breakfasts every day different with savory and sweet products at km 0, cleaning and organization. You can't want more.
