When I lived in Milan and Rome, but also when I was away for short periods for work, the thing I most missed was the pastarella chantilly brioche. All my friends know it: if they want to make me happy, a brioche with Chantilly from pastarella is enough.

A historic pastry shop that is mainly characterized by its night opening: a counter always well stocked with sweet and savory pastries at normal prices. The quality, as well as the maintenance of the venue, however, has dropped a little over time, making La Pastarella a night / evening whim without too many pretensions.
