Worst possible experience. If you can, avoid this garage at all cost! We were in Sestri Levante for vacation when our van stopped working (after parking, the van didn't start). Our insurance organized a transport to that garage and so we stuck there for the next 4 days: The garage wasn't capable of using a diagnosis tool for an obvious electrical problem. Instead they did a bunch of superficial checks (e.g. checking the battery status; checking a few fuses). We experienced pure chaotic conditions while waiting for the diagnosis (4 days in total, while we were on the spot the first 2 days). Apparently there was only one mechanic who was capable of handling such problems and he was clearly overstrained with new customers, phone calls and the general workload. I reckon that at least 50% of the total working time of the whole staff consists of ranking damaged cars in and out of the garage due to the bottleneck of the access road. I'm not exaggerating when I state that the mechanic couldn't focus on one problem for more than 30 seconds before he got a new phone call or other distractions (during the time we were present). We couldn't see how our problem could get solved the following days, it was hard to believe that the garage really could handle the problem. Long story short: After 4 days of waiting, talking to our insurance and the garage, we finally got the diagnosis (after being lied to, when the diagnosis should be ready at least 4 times!!!): Two control devices are broken, delivery time 2 weeks, the cost would be 1800 €. We decided to let the van be transported back to the garage of my choice back in Germany, because I couldn't trust in these guys any more. Back in Germany the van was fixed: The fuse box was broken -> 380 €. I think Autofficina Caccamo is a really bad example of a repair shop, it's a cheek on so many levels: - Obviously they didn't really check our car - They put our heads on the line multiple times - The diagnosis was wrong (maybe on purpose? I don't know...) - They charged us 122 € for the (wrong) diagnosis. We really can't imagine how they looked at the car for ~2 hours... For us, it was a horrible week, because we hoped each day, the car could be repaired.

Avoid this garage in any case!!! When we arrived they said they will look at our car the same day. Nothing happend until we arrived there the next day. In the afternoon the workshop master asked us in an unfriendly manner if we had a problem with him. Then he said he will exchange a part and our car will be ready the next day. We asked him several times if he is sure that this part is the only problem. He agreed. Two days later he exchanged the part but said there is another problem. We wanted to leave with our car but he did not release it to us. After realising that we did not have to pay because we did not sign any assignement he suddenly was friendly and made the car ready for driving in a few hours. We could go home with the car but it is still not repaired. So in the end we payed a lot of money for waiting four days for him exchanging a working part of the car and not even fixing the problem at all. Our car is a Fiat and the garage is authorized to repair Fiat cars. I dont know how this garage got this status. Dont go there.
