Beautiful
Would not expect this beauty at such a remote place way over the mountains coming from Modica & Ragusa. As your driving you can see her on the decline into town. Worth a nice visit

The basilica of Maria Santissima Annunziata is one of the main churches of Comiso. It is very beautiful and ancient.
The church measures 55.90 x 32.45 m. It has three aisles with a barrel vault supported by ten large round arches resting on cylindrical columns. Its plan is a Latin cross, on whose cross the majestic dome rises.
Wonderful basilica. Always worth a visit. It is several hundred years old but very well cared for and bright thanks to the beautiful stained glass windows.
