Crooks !! the waiter does not understand my Italian when I ask for 2 espresso and bring me 2 Spriz !! with an obligation to make me pay it. let's leave these places to the locals ...

On a very warm day of visiting Naples we were lucky to stop at this very trendy bar (black and brass bar with an impressive collection of wines above it). We asked for something refreshing and the charming staff at the bar got us two "shakerato"... It's a perfect blend of ice cold Espresso, chocolate syrup, vanilla essence and cocoa powder!

I always felt very welcome there - friendly staff and really good coffee! Their wine 'cellar' is amazing :-)

One of the best after-dinner cocktail bars you'll find near the Lungomare. Ba-Bar is a nice, little cafe located along the street that joins Borgo Marinari with Piazza del Plebiscito. There are a few reasons for which I'd choose this place over the neighbouring ones. (1) First of all, the staff is amazingly warm and helpful. (2) Secondly, cocktails were great: we ordered an "amaro" and a Long Island and the latter was one of the best in town. Its location, however, is strategic therefore expect to pay an over-the-average price for everything you'll order (cocktail €10, double shot of amaro €6 - at the table).
