Huge complex with two entrances, of which only one can be used because provided with metal-detector. The current entrance is preceded by a large square paved in black stone with fountain and steps barely visible in low light conditions and somewhat slippery in case of rain, so it is advisable to use the path for the disabled. After the entrance there is a central covered tunnel with significant problems of infiltration and two frontage buildings with safety shields due to the almost constant separation of the façade tiles. Inside the Civil Court the spaces are gigantic and very dark, equipped with a myriad of elevators and black stone tiled stairs, with almost invisible non-slip lines. On the ground floor also two granite staircases of disproportionate size dominate. On the ground and first floors there are the hearing rooms in a row, each with two entrances to return paired with those of the nearby classrooms, which generate considerable confusion. From the second floor onwards there are the chancelleries and the offices of the judges, distributed in a row on two corridors and connected in sections. In the Palazzo frontestante the Civil Court is the Criminal Court with the Prosecution, while at the Palazzo connecting the two there is the office of the Justice of Peace, the only one to have good lighting from the outside. In all the complex, however, the leitmotiv is constituted by the confusion generated by the tangle of corridors, classrooms, services, etc. where it is difficult to move if you are not used to it. The adjacent parking lots are paid and in sufficient quantity to cover the needs of users, even for the exaggerated size of the whole complex in relation to the real needs of a city like Pescara.
