Not really fair when it comes to price for works. First fix was badly done and 5 minutes on the road my waterpump belt broke down again. Other company had to bring me back to the garage because there 24/7 service was not available. Finally they charged me again for the mistakes they made before...

On Friday 21/082020 my vw polo got stuck on the A2 at km 401.9. Through my insurance, I received the assistance of the Team Fortugno tow truck which transported the vehicle to their yard. The fault was already known to me: the EGR valve which, due to an assembly defect, was damaged by the exhaust gases, together with the pneumatic pipes that went towards the low pressure diesel pump and the airbox. As soon as it was unloaded from the tow truck, I asked the driver if I could complete the disassembly of the valve from the vehicle to assess the damage: the answer was negative because "they were closing" (it is an emergency service 24 hours a day). Saturday 22/08/2020 I go back to the workshop and talk to the assistant who is working on some vehicles; I explain that I already know what the fault is and ask him for assistance. The answers were in order: the EGR is broken; I can send it to all the car demolitions from here to Gioia Tauro, but today Saturday they are all closed, I can send it (I guess two vw dealers specified, but I don't remember The names), but always on Monday because today he can't find anyone. The tone of the answers was annoyed and irritating, but I admit that he soon granted me an Allen key to remove the valve. Being able to count on a support vehicle, I contact two demolition cars, obviously open. At the Cento demolition machine, I found the valve and then returned to piazzale Fortugno where I was about to reassemble it, when it was pointed out to me that I could not work on the machine in their yard. I signed and took the push car to the adjacent parking lot where I completed the valve assembly and resumed the journey. But working in someone else's parking lot can be a problem. Apart from the towing, the support of the Fortugno workshop can be summed up in an Allen key. Courtesy, availability and orientation to the difficulties of the people who help, in my case, not received. I thank the autodemolizioni Cento and the autodemolizioni Ficarra F&F for the courtesy and willingness to help me.

I used the roadside assistance service on the Palmi motorway. The recovery service that took place in the middle of the morning was fast and excellent. On the contrary, the assistance for the replacement car, as for the accommodation by the UnipolSai insurance at 7 pm has not yet been resolved.
