The church is a great place of worship for the faithful, it gathers the whole plain and beyond The saint's celebrations are on August 16th. Party of great importance for the extraordinary numbers of attendances and the fair of stalls that stop for about a week.

The new church is an example of modern architecture. The façade has only a wide plinth, which extends over the entire width of the façade, and decorative pilasters in dark stone that divide it into three sectors along the entire height. Centrally, there is an atrium, set back from the façade and also bounded by pilasters, in which there are three entrances, two side and one central. The side facades do not have any type of architectural element, except for two secondary entrances in the right one. The roof, consisting of a reinforced concrete slab, is flat and projecting with a wide cornice. At the center of the roof rises a quadrangular base dome, supported internally by the church with four pillars, with windows on all four facades. The roof of the dome is formed by a four-pitched roof. On the right side there is a bell tower with a four-pitched roof and windows on all four sides, set back and adhering to the church. In front of the tower there is a small garden, raised above the overlooking Via Guglielmo Oberdan and bordered by fence, accessible both from inside the church and from Piazza San Rocco. Indoor The mosaic of the back wall. The altar of the chapel of San Rocco Inside the church consists of a single nave in which, centrally, there are two projecting lateral trapezoidal apses that correspond to two side chapels. Both the classroom and the presbytery, raised by three steps, are located inside the nave, which ends with a curved back wall.

Church also known as the Church of San Rocco due to the presence of the statue of the Saint. The feast of San Rocco is celebrated on August 16th and it is from this church, located in the center of the city of Palmi, that the most important procession of the city begins and ends. The veneration of the Palmesi citizens in San Rocco goes back many centuries and for the San Rocco day there are hundreds of thousands of presences from all over Italy.

Entering the church, you feel engrossed in that mystical air typical of sacred places. On the main altar, the Immaculate Virgin is sumptuous, and on the left the statue of San Rocco. A prayer comes to you spontaneously.

The devotion to San Rocco is profound and I have worn it since I was a child
