Whenever I go back to Alghero to visit my family, I always like to go to the Agorá café for the excellent aperitifs and breakfasts and also for the excellent service. This last time, however, I had a big disappointment: the aperitif was very poor (a mini bowl of chips and peanuts) but, more importantly, the place was really dirty (both the room and the bathroom _ where between the the sink tap has been broken for over a year). I believe that the lack of cleanliness and hygiene is always intolerable, but even more so in the current situation. Friends and family have had the same impression we have over the past few days, further confirming that our experience was not isolated. We will certainly not return, reluctantly.

Bad experience. Capuchins do not know how to make them and know little about cappuccino. Brioches are frozen. Maybe it's the worst cream brioche I've ever eaten. The environment is saved and the bathrooms are also really clean. Fast service. There are few other bars nearby.

Nice place with friendly staff, perhaps the only one or the few that offer elaborate "tapas" when consuming drinks. In a place quite close to the Historic Center.
