I am writing this review to share our extremely positive experience at the San Giacomo clinic in Ponte dell'Olio. My 86-year-old grandfather Roberto Assiemi was hospitalized after being operated on in the hospital for a fracture of the femur. he arrived at the nursing home psychologically and emotionally very exhausted after a long stay in a civil hospital. He was immediately greeted with professionalism by people who made him feel at ease from day one. from the first phone calls we could understand that the situation was improving rapidly, both from the tone of voice and the brilliance of the speeches. the visits, one a week due to the Anti-covid measures, were enough to reassure us more and more, since we were aware that the treatments and therapies, physiotherapy, nutrition, company and empathy of all the staff allowed him to spend rehabilitation perfectly. I would like to express our gratitude to the nurses, the physiotherapists in particular Davide who followed him day by day, the head nurse Maria Pia, the doctors and all the staff without distinction, for allowing my grandfather to go home on his legs, followed and cared for with extreme attention, professionalism and dedication. 40 days after the operation, today we returned home, climbed two floors of stairs with only the help of a crutch. I spent 2 months at this facility that exceeded my expectations. I would like to premise that I arrived at the San Giacomo Care Home with a very critical situation, in a wheelchair and almost paralyzed after two very delicate interventions suffered in Australia, but thanks to the professionalism and to the dedication that the staff has shown to me, they have managed to improve my situation with excellent results.
