LOCAL CHURCH IN COMACCHIO THAT IS WORTH A VISIT. VERY PLEASANT INTERIOR.

The "Rosary Church" was built in 1618 by order of the brotherhood of S.Rosario. A macabre brick facade with a portal made of Istrian stone and terracotta frames on the windows emphasize the simple church. A wooden crucifix from 1641 (Filippo de Porris) and the wooden statue of the Blessed Virgin are impressive.

Beautiful Catholic Church, the main facade is brick. The interior, with a single nave, is very pleasant and has many sacred statues including Santa Rita. Inside there are two works of great interest, the great painting by Cesare Mezzogori, from 1689 which depicts the Virgin of the Rosary in a blaze of angels and with the Saints Giustina and Domenico and the beautiful wooden statue of the seventeenth century with the Virgin sitting on a rich armchair, with a white tunic, holding the baby Jesus, visible in a side chapel. The main altar is also very beautiful, with a beautiful wooden crucifix. Recommended a visit!

A beautiful local church is worth a brief visit

Located in the historic center, near the civic tower, it was built in the years 1622-1640; the brick facade is enhanced by the portal in Istrian stone (limestone). You can also enter the church from the side, via a brick bridge.
