My son started primary school this year after attending the puppy kindergarten for three years.
The choice was carefully evaluated both from an economic and educational point of view and today we are delighted with the choice made. There is no day in which progress is not seen in all subjects and, as regards English, the child is able to understand what he hears and the words he is learning have a British pronunciation thanks to the mother tongue teachers.
There is also excellent communication between school and family and the relationship between parents and teachers.
In conclusion, I can say that the confirmation of having made the right choice is to see that every morning he can't wait to go to school
A perfect structure for a particular project. Like all schools, it has its pros and cons, for us it is a completely positive experience and we are still convinced that we have chosen the right school for our child. He has learned to interact and communicate with anyone in English without fear, and this is priceless. The use of a foreign language not only opens the world to you, but through new intercultural knowledge the child acquires a broad and less superficial vision. Thanks to the stimulus to communicate and curiosity, he learns a whole language and culture that undoubtedly enriches him for the rest of his life.
I can bring my experience for the first three months my daughter attended at the Bilingual School of Massa.
I was concerned that the impact with a bilingual school could be traumatic for my daughter who came from a traditional preschool. The 16 hours a week of instruction in English (strictly mother tongue!) Scared me a lot. In particular, I feared that the girl could remain 'a foreign body' among children who may already speak English.
I must say instead that from the first moment, my daughter lived the lessons in an absolutely natural way.
The approach to the new language was managed using recreational play activities involving children, who learn while having fun.
To date my daughter is very happy to go to school, the environment is familiar (thanks also to the small number of pupils per class) and the children are looked after (sometimes even pampered) by the teaching staff.
Another thing about the Bilingual School of Massa that struck me positively was the reactivity it showed in implementing promptly and without ever giving inefficiencies, all the hygienic-sanitary provisions required, in a difficult moment like the present one, during which rules and conditions change very quickly.
Therefore, my opinion, limited to my experience of these first months, is largely positive, and, at the moment, I am sure I have made a nice 'gift' to my daughter.
I chose the bilingual school in Massa for my daughter's elementary school 4 years ago despite the few reviews as it has only been active for a short time. I was pleasantly impressed by the project and the teaching staff. Today I am very proud of the choice, so much so that my second child also attends the bilingual kindergarten.
We are an Anglo-Italian family that every morning, from 3 years, starts from La Spezia to bring our son to the maternal puppy of Massa and we will continue to do so even for primary schools.
When our son started the kindergarten he spoke only English, now he is fluent also in Italian.
This shows that this school also works in reverse, not only for Italian children who want to learn English but also for foreigners who want to learn Italian without losing English.
We can confirm that the level of English is excellent, impossible to find in other schools in the area.
The teachers are loving, highly prepared and the children are really well followed !! Our child loves this school and its staff, it's like a big family!
I highly recommend this school to anyone who wants to start an educational path with an edge over their children and want to include them in an international environment, which is not easy to find in the area.
