Oratorio di Santa Liberata

According to the hagiographic tradition, Liberata was the daughter of Lucio Catelio Severo, a Roman consul in the westernmost part of the Iberian Peninsula (now Galicia) in 122. However, the most recent studies have largely disavowed this tradition. Liberata was therefore born in Gaul (present-day France) in the Lot region, between Toulouse and Bordeaux. His date of birth is unknown, as are other data relating to his life.
