The oratory of the Tre Vie, also known as the "rotunda", is located at the intersection of three streets and protects the image of the Madonna on a 17th century capital. Strongly desired by Count Francesco Lion, a patrician from Padua and Lord of Sanguinetto, it was built between 1742 and 174 by Count Alessandro Pompei, one of the most important Venetian architects of the '700. Built in neoclassical style, the church has 3 entrance portals and 4 windows, and the whole structure is topped with a drum. The internal plant is octagonal and can be perceived from the roof, with a circular 8-pitch plan, with a load-bearing wooden structure and brick roof tiles. The bell tower was built towards the end of the 1700s. Inside there are no frescoes, but the walls are alternated with Ionic capitals. The vault has a lowered dome and is painted with fake lacunars (a false coffered ceiling), which give a sense of space and detachment upwards. The old capital with the image of the Madonna is located in a niche, dominated by an arch and a polychrome marble altar. The walls of the niche are plastered and painted. The floor is in red Verona marble and white stone laid diagonally, typical of many churches in the area. Recently the oratory has been the subject of restoration work. The oratory is opened in May for the evening recitations of the rosary on the occasion of the Marian month and 11 July each year, when the 11 consecutive masses are celebrated to renew the escaped cholera epidemic in the summer of 1836.
