The church of Lumignano is roughly the departure of various paths and the parking lot in front serves all those who appreciate the hills and the rocky walls behind it. Going to the right looking at the church, you can begin the path that leads to the walls of the rock gym, but also. with a small detour to the Hermitage of San Cassiano, very suggestive place with long historical traditions, the hermitage is partly carved out of caves and partly with masonry that protrudes from the rocky walls exposed to the valley below, the interior can only be visited the first Sunday of every month, the hermitage is no longer a religious environment, it is managed by the Vicentino Speleological Group which manages and manages it including the entire perimeter that also has a small belvedere on the underlying country, if you like path, after the detour to the hermitage, alternatively continues in the rift, very shady valley and full of particular blooms, a ring will take you back to the village and the church of Lumignano, interesting walks

The Lumignano cart race was beautiful, the participation both local and not remarkable. The fun was not lacking. The only sad thing was the race founder who is no longer with us. The memory at the end of the race and the applause in HIS HONOR CIAO ANDREA are moving.

I often find myself in Lumignano because it is a starting point for many of my excursions alone or in company ..... I must say that it is a really fantastic area that with its hermitages and hollows formed by the erosion of the sea, make it a mysterious country and all to be discovered, as all to discover are the paths that surround it .... I recommend a ride just to get an idea about the beautiful places we find a short distance from home ...
