Dwell in this place, it transmits mystical sensations, the monument to the fallen of Castegnero is a small, very elegant, Art Nouveau temple, with the foothills of the Berici Mountains as a background to the north and in front of it, to the south, the panorama descending, enchanting - semi unknown to the tourist routes of the Euganean Hills and Berici Mountains - towards the Po Valley. The inscription engraved on the temple is a short prayer, which is also a poem dedicated to the fallen in war, concise, moving, it reads: >. The square in front is surrounded by a dry stone wall with a suggestive setting of other times, from there you can admire the view towards the Po Valley and turning back to take a last look at the monument you will be left with the memory of those cypresses and of that green, wild, untouched hill that frames you.
