Beautiful church within the walls of the village. Interior and exterior with impressive Greek temple style columns. The dome is majestic.

This church, located in the small village of Castiglione del Lago, on the Trasimeno, has an almost millenary history, and although it does not offer significant architectural elements, it contains two paintings that alone deserve a visit. It is a Madonna Enthroned, once attributed even to Raphael, and a Madonna del Latte, from the Sienese school of the fourteenth century. Recommended visit
