Paying 3 euros per hour just to stop is a theft since you don't have basic services such as a drinking fountain or loading / unloading for the camper. It could be better reorganized in order to obtain more places and above all to invite the cars to stay in the parking lot next to each other since all the rest of Portovenere is forbidden to campers. Completely in the sun, a beauty for the hottest summer hours. Investing in tourism in these places is a MANDATORY.

Dunno, a Sunday in August that was supposed to be one of relaxation and leisure has turned into stress and anger. Portovenere is beautiful but avoid busy periods. Practically the parking lots along the road leading to the town are exhausted, we parked in this pitch reserved for campers because the only hole available. 10 euros for four hours a theft, considering that it is very far from the center. It is true that there is a shuttle bus that goes around, but also that for a fee. A sign that in Portovenere, they know money very well. I recommend to park in La Spezia and take a boat, paying to pay at least is pleasant and not stressful!
