A small but nice ski area. The slopes are well groomed and all levels of difficulty are covered. Ideally suited for beginners as well as advanced. The staff is friendly and courteous. The food on the Schwemmalm is recommendable and worth the price.

MONTE MUTEGG m.2.658. Took the SCHWEMMALM cable car which starts from Pracupola and arrives at Malga Guazza. Followed path n. 29, then 32 for Mutteg and in a couple of hours you reach the top. Unmissable panorama. On the one hand the spectacle of the lake of Quaira 2.250 dominated by the Orecchia di Lepre, on the other the lake of Zoccolo and the Maddalene chain. On clear days you can also see the Dolomites.

Convenient starting point to reach the meadows from the valley. Check the last ride at the start. You cannot pay for the ticket at the top, but by insisting you can still ask to get off and pay it down

After taking the cable car from Val d'Ultimo you get to Scwemmalmbahn from here some routes begin to reach the summit of Mount Mutegg (the silent top), there are two routes to get there, one challenging, also suitable for families and one really tough but when you reach the summit all the effort is rewarded ... what about the landscape ... to do

Actually we just wanted to walk around the reservoir, but my wife wanted to go on an alpine excursion. So we got into one of the modern gondolas and drove in a rush to over 2000m. Unfortunately, the descent via the Way of the Cross was a bit difficult and took a good 2.5 hours. The ride with the cable car is recommended.
