An open-air monument, unique in its kind, and highly suggestive, which well represents the wealth of the city and which, together with the Abbey of San Galgano, constitutes the only Italian example of a church without a roof. It is the former Church of San Francesco, one of the most beautiful and evocative monumental complexes in Fano,

The place is beautiful and evocative but I do not understand why it is kept closed .. We were able to see it from a large gate which fortunately guarantees the view ... Really a shame

The place is suggestive even if the maintenance is scarce. In the past it was one of the most beautiful churches in the Marche. Now homeless is used for summer shows.
