The institute has no longer been a master's degree for more than twenty years. The magistral institute was in fact abolished with a ministerial directive. Malaspina now hosts two high schools: the linguistic high school and the human sciences high school. It offers an accurate and complete preparation, as evidenced by numerous independent researches such as that of the Agnelli Foundation which places it in first place among equal institutes in the province and neighboring ones. The preparation combines a familiar and peaceful environment, able to understand the numerous socio-affective problems that characterize today's teenagers.
