Great cakes and snacks. Friendly service. A surprisingly delicious tuna salad.

Came here for a quick lunch back in October 2019, after visiting the archaeological site. As it was pretty hot (for me) and after a long morning of walking and exploring the aforementioned site, I only wanted something light. It worked out here as the cafe had so many dessert and light snack options. I only went with a tiramisu cake and juice. Both were good. The prices are a bit high even by the standards of Italy, but it’s right opposite the Herculaneum site and very touristy area, so that’s only to be expected.

Went here before entering Herculaneum after hiking up and down Vesuvius. It was the first place we saw, and starving, we stupidly went straight to it without reading the reviews. Pretty bad and slow service, and high prices for really poor food. We shoved it down our throats considering we were starving after the hike, but would’ve much rather Ed taking our time to find somewhere worth going. It has a great location right outside the entrance to Herculaneum, but don’t be fooled, you most likely won’t enjoy your meal. Find somewhere else to eat nearby.

Friendly service and delicious food at decent prices right next to the Herculaneum Ruins. Lots of menu options ranging from pizzas & pastas to sandwiches. Perfect for a quick bite on the way to or from the Ruins or Mount Vesuvius.

Very expensive for what they give you. I guess they take advantage of being in front of the ruins. Better go somewhere else.
