Radiographic center located in front of Carrefour. They answer the phone for any clarification. Possible to book and almost immediate availability. They accept recipes for any exam. Answers after a few days. I have done various x-rays for scoliosis, panoramic of the teeth, CT scan, magnetic resonance with and without contrast. For me and my teenagers. Always found good. Clean and tidy premises. Presence of paper and soap in the bathrooms. Now respect for social distancing and gel. Seats with plexiglass dividers. There is also a water dispenser and disposable glasses. It stands up to competition from the radiological center 200 meters away. Friendly and helpful staff. Counter with plexiglass where you can sign recipes if you show up
Unable to reserve by phone
In February 2020 I needed an Angio Magnetic Resonance, a performance that is not too common but in any case known and widespread. I contacted several diagnostic centers in the Neapolitan who honestly replied that they did not perform this service.
The vomero CT Center was the only one who replied categorically that the performance in question (Angio RM) did not exist, it was imaginary.
Both the secretary and the radiologist of the CT Center assured me (over several phone calls) that it was a non-existent thing. The prescription in my possession (made by Dr Celentano of the Sdc Center) was therefore dismissed as "an error made by the angiologist".
Following some of my simple research on the internet I discovered that it was not true, that the Angio RM was a real exam. So I called the CT Center again and they panicked and inquired and after a while they replied that yes, it actually existed. To save face they explained to me that there had been a misunderstanding, claiming that the exam exists but there would be no code to prescribe it / make the challenge. They made me fall back into a state of uncertainty and confusion telling me that it was not a thing prescribed by the doctor!
Obviously also this information provided to me (by the manager, once again in a safe and reassuring tone) was false.
The treatment reserved for me by the CT Center was the most embarrassing and least professional thing I have experienced in my life; secretary, radiologist, manager, all of whom proved not to live up to their job, regardless of the pathologies, coarse and unprepared but sure in their unawareness. In conclusion, I was told that if I had made it known it would have been a simple throw of mud.
To be avoided, they are below all professional and human standards.
I don't think it's possible to draw conclusions other than mine - and therefore a different judgment! - as a result of the above facts, fully demonstrable.
In the underlying response from the center, the lack of understanding of the difference between the Event occurred and the personal judgment is shown.
I doubt that not only the technical information is missing, but also the underlying cognitive ones!
I had an appointment for this morning at 11.30 am for a private thyroid echo at 1.00 pm I left without having done it. Nobody explained to me the reason for such a delay and even less they apologized to me. I felt like I was at the ASL. ... what a shame I will never go back
I've always had a great time.
From the kindness of the operators, to the great humanity and professionalism of Dr. Mario Chef, to the serenity and availability of the anesthetist, Dr. Gifuni, combined with a skill that makes you forget why you are there and they make you face it with warmth and affection, details that not everyone reserves for patients, care of the heart and soul that is needed, in certain places and in certain difficult moments, since it is almost always for a health problem, a control.
