This is the main church of Agordo. The exterior is really beautiful and suggestive. I have not seen anything like it in the surroundings. But the interior also deserves a visit because there are many valuable works: first of all the altar of S. Barbara wanted by the miners and mining experts of Agordini of which it is the protector. The choir is decorated with the prestigious frescoes by Giovanni De Min, praised by A. Canova. For me who is a believer and a practitioner, the place also offers a moment of tranquility to breathe and focus on spirituality. The evening mass at 18.30.
