The church of the village of Giove dedicated to St. Joseph is located within the historic core in the main square close to residential buildings. From the configuration of the roof it would seem that the small church once turned out to be independent of the rest of the built-up area despite being inside the built-up area. Planimetrically it is of limited size and has a single nave layout with remarkable rehash operations that have led to a significant transformation in stylistic and decorative features. Historiography based on architectural features assigns the building to the seventeenth century. In particular, the building adjacent to the church bears a date engraved on stone: 1652. Liturgical adjustment altar - structural intervention (1970-80) The only intervention of liturgical adaptation that affected the church was carried out during the 1970s and included the advancement of the altar, built with marble columns and a stone top, towards the assembly of the faithful.
