Chiesa di S. Prudenzio

At 710 m s.l.m. Lagacci fraz. Sanbuca Pistoiese (PT), a small village surrounded by the green of the Emilian Apennines, its church dates back to 700 from San Michele di Stagno, its peculiarity is in its proverbs for the streets of the village written on wooden tablets, a small village cheerful and original of its kind. I recommend a jump in the ancient proverbs; when the birds fly low if you don't have an umbrella it stretches the pace. - the best mirror is an old friend.

The church was built in the eighteenth century as an oratory dedicated to San Michele di Stagno, in the jurisdiction of the parish of Capanne. It became a parish in 1785 by decree of the bishop Scipione de 'Ricci, with the title of San Prudenzio and the new parish was assigned a territory separated from that of the church of Frassignoni. The rectory was built on the orders of Bishop Ricci. currently the church belongs to the parish of Pracchia.
