Chiesa Di Sant' Andrea Apostolo

The historical information dates back to 1600, but nothing is known about the location of the primitive parish church that according to a reliable tradition, had to rise in the fund called Le Braglie. The facade of the church has a neoclassical façade, clad in cut stone, with the median part corresponding to the central nave raised on a very marked sandstone tympanum; this is flanked by the two side aisles crowned by a flat cornice that accentuates the horizontality of the front. At the entrance portal correspond to the center of the side panels two niches, placed to enclose as many life-size statues. The rear part of the building is very interesting, characterized by an apse hemicycle with a covering made of stone-shaped protruding sandstone slabs, on an eighteenth-century installation, the dovecote windows that open at the back of the building, in the two side wings, in a of which an archibugiera of recovery appears, to use of pertugio. Inside the church, the most valuable element is the ceiling: preciously carved, with bas-reliefs depicting religious symbols including the cross of St. Andrew and a monstrance with an eagle.
