Church of San Michele Arcangelo

I took 10 days of vacation, with friends, hot there during the day but in the evening a real pleasure for the cool and the silence. A godsend

A small jewel in the hills on the border between Fiumalbo and Pievepelago, originally an ancient Romanesque temple from the 12th century, it houses two frescoes depicting the Madonna del cardo and St. Michael the archangel as well as a wooden crucifix. Every year a pleasant festival is held with which offers are collected in favor of the parish.
