Just outside the ancient village, and after having crossed it all, you will find it at the bottom of a staircase, crossing the road. This Church, perhaps not very attractive from the outside, instead preserves inside a Treasure to be discovered .... 🍀 It is also a quiet area and away from the chaos of tourists and allows for a refreshment stop. It should also be added that from here, it is possible to enjoy a wonderful panorama

Found closed, it is open only on Sundays. Three stars on trust because inside there is a fresco that someone attributes to Perugino. The facade is decrepit

The church of San Pietro is located in Città della Pieve and even if it is strictly part of the historic center it is located right on the edge of the town and is connected to it by the steps of San Pietro. The church inside is very simple but beautiful and full of charm. From the square in front of you can enjoy the wonderful landscape that the valley offers. Great place for photos.

This church is located on the outskirts of the historic center a little outside the classic touristic area. However, if you have the patience to do those two extra steps you will first enjoy a spectacular view of the valley below. The church is small, only one "nave", but it has a valuable fresco above the altar and conveys an atmosphere of intimacy. It is worth stopping for a moment outside of it, on the clearing in the shade of the big tree and enjoying the view.
