The food was very fresh and delicious. Given the very good reviews of this place I have to admit that I have been a bit surprised that the pasta was overcooked. Maybe it was a singlar experience but I had to mention it. The desert was very good. The personnel was friendly and forthcoming indeed. Overall, I would recommend this place in Recco.

I had dinner with my partner, passing through the area we did a quick search and decided to try this restaurant specifically for the recco focaccia; The first impact was very positive, the environment has classic furnishings and is elegant in my opinion, and most importantly very clean (which is obvious, but not always true). The service was impeccable, the room attendant who welcomed and served us was always very kind and cordial and for me it is a very important factor. As anticipated we wanted to get rid of the desire for cheese focaccia and therefore although very interesting, we did not evaluate the dishes of the kitchen, where in addition to the a la carte menus with typical dishes of the tradition and not, even the tasting menus with a price starting from 30 euros containing all courses (focaccia, first, second). Speaking of the focaccia, we found it very good, the quantity of stracchino was balanced and the dough had both soft and crunchy pieces with an excellent and delicate flavor, such as to be able to distinguish the taste of the delicate oil in the dough. In addition to the classic we tried the pizza and also in this case it did not disappoint, and the quantity of capers and anchovies was not excessive and did not cover the rest of the flavors. Finally we wanted to try the pesto one, and since it wasn't on the menu, they brought us a generous portion of fresh pesto to add on top of the focaccia at our pleasure; the pesto was very delicious and from the consistency it had I am sure it was made by hand. we spent about 40 euros for two portions of focaccia (normal and one pesto), a focaccia pizza, water, 1/2 bitter wine and coffee ... and in my opinion deserved both for the service and for the focaccia we will definitely be back to try the cuisine
