The first official act in which it appears with the name of St. Martin Chapel of Recco dates back to 1195. Inside you can admire: • an altarpiece of 1791 by the painter Carlo Giuseppe Ratti positioned on the first altar on the right; • a pipe organ made by Tommaso I Roccatagliata in the 17th century; • a precious image of the Madonna della Salute whose origin is unknown. The church contains a beautiful crib Genoese and Neapolitan school with some statues of the Maragliano school.

Pretty little baroque church, with recently restored façade and bell tower and with mosaic flooring, mostly original, in the small churchyard and in the adjacent small square. A room bordering the church, equipped with a large screen, is intended for families with small children. It houses a Roman urn. During the Christmas period a precious and suggestive historical nativity scene is set up. From the small churchyard a remarkable view of the Golfo Paradiso.
