This trail is listed as easy but it has some work to it. It is easier to take a clockwise route on this path.The route consists of paths: #3, #3a. This route takes a more gradual climb were the other side is very steep with a lot of stairs. It took about 45 minutes to climb to the top. The church was closed the day we were there. You can see the complete coast line from the top. Also not to many people there. Wear good shoes and bring water to drink. There is a good amount of sunshine as you walk so sunscreen is an option.

Such an incredible view here. Be aware there are two trails to access this high point. I would recommend taking the longer trail up and coming down the much shorter, but steeper side. The view of Riomaggiore and the coast line from the church grounds is well worth the 1 hour hike.

The best place on Earth ... Hike to the top from Riomaggiore and enjoy the fantastic view of the whole 5 terre

Beautiful view. Nice hiking trail. Good way to spend couple hours. Take some pizza and drinks with you to the top and have nice picnic.
