A bit different than the other 4 Cinque Terre cities, also a bit of a hike. 33 stories.

The village is beatiful. The local people are very kind and helpful. But the trip from the train up to the village has 400 steps.Be ready for a lovely view,it's worth the walk.

We stayed here at an AirBnB with Lidia. Her rental was fantastic, and the location was superb. The food here is decent, but you will not get as wide a variety as other towns in the Cinque Terre. The town is quiet, and has breathtaking views if you climb to the top. Taking the blue line hiking trail to Vernazza is equally rewarding, though the trail to Manarola is currently closed due to a landslide. The entire town has the "small-town" vibe, even down to the children playing a pickup game of futbol behind the church. Find the panoramic terrace hidden away in the streets for a very beautiful sunset!
