Resort Santa Maria

Really DISAPPOINTING. Starting with cleaning, the house was full of cobwebs, papers behind the furniture and dust. The refrigerator was not working well I asked if anyone would come to see it and they said they would come in the day but no one came. The very old swimming pool dirty and broken in fact my boyfriend caught a mushroom. Furthermore, due to an injury, we asked the facility for patches or gauze but they had nothing, so they asked us to pass the following morning but they didn't get them. To reach the beach there is a shuttle service for up to 8 people in fact you had to queue to get to the beach. Among other things, for safety due to the covid, the shuttle was not supposed to fill up completely in my opinion, but this could not be respected otherwise people would arrive at the beach in the evening! The resort (if you can call it that) for me is just a vacation home. During the week no one ever came to clean the stairs and the entrance to the building where the apartments were. The resort is more than 3 km away from the center so for us guys who did not have a car it was difficult to organize ourselves to go out in the evening as the evening shuttle services of the resort were not there and we had to call other shuttles that we charged handsomely! The road to get to the center apart from that is a long stretch but it is dark and the passing cars hardly see people as there are no sidewalks. The resort itself is also dimly lit, in fact around 1am when we returned to the resort we had to walk with torches. The first evening we went out on the way back we waited about an hour outside the resort by intercom and calling the structure because no one answered and no one had warned us that there was a lock near the wall that it was not possible to see it both for the leaves that were there than for the low light. For the animation there were 3 boys two of whom were good, the third was almost absent in fact he did not warn us of a barbecue that they organized and that we learned from third parties in the late afternoon when we had already called the shuttle for go out.

The property does not correspond to 3 stars. Bad bar, I and 4 other people waited for the shuttle for 40 minutes in the sun, even though we gave the time. After midnight the resort is dark, I turn everything off. Finally, the tourist tax has to be paid which corresponds to 1 euro per day per person, not invoiced. The entertainment is perfect .... at least that .... After paying a lot of money for a week !!!!

Calling this bad structure is a compliment. Poor services. Structure of at least 40 years ago. Cleaning non-existent, despite the difficult period we are experiencing. They gave us an apartment for 6 people with only a bathtub (therefore not recommended for people of a certain age). A very serious note is the lack of nursing services (I needed a patch and during the whole week they have not provided supplies). Very scarce shuttle service, not for the driver, but because only 1 van cannot quickly dispose of the flow of people to take to the beach. Extremely bad experience. I won't go back even if they pay me and I don't recommend it to anyone. 👎👎👎

Potentially it could be much better. A very cool place in a very hot area, a bit far from the sea, but a very functional shuttle. Recommended for crowded groups that keep company and exploit the potential. The apartments are very clean, a few more tricks could improve.

It is not organized, it takes too long to clean the room and we have to wait a long time for the key. I put a star because it really is a shame. DISAPPOINTMENT
