Beautiful place to spend the afternoon in the Verona hills. Only 10 minutes by bus 97 from downtown.

The villa is modest but the historic garden is important, enriched with pearls such as the splendid fish pond and the belvedere. Unfortunately, a "living" work of art like a garden needs constant and wise care, and the gradual withdrawal from the activities of the Villa Scopoli Association unfortunately begins and shows tangible signs of maintenance, burdened by improper use and from a lack of sensitivity towards a precious heritage of the community. One "common good", one could say, is much more than a legacy to Don Mazza, the current owner.
