Seeing it this way does not prove its age ..... but from what we know it is a very ancient Church, according to Jacobilli its construction dates back to the end of the year 1000. Over time it has undergone transformations and modifications; not least the skilful restorations present it as we see it. The monks and congregations that succeeded each other in the monastic complex and that made it important were ... Olivetans, Benedictines, hermit friars who demonstrate the important historical value. It is very rich in pictorial works that can be seen above the altars in the side walls. The most beautiful and certainly the one that folignati love in particular is .... the altarpiece of the great master Nicolò Alunno ...... with the nativity, the resurrection and various saints. Stop to carefully observe San Michele Arcangelo ..... for us it is of superlative beauty.

Simple church without frescos, but not without beauty. You can find beautiful paintings and statues, high up in the various corners of the church, even painted and not only all white as in other churches.
