A bit of clarity and history ..... THE NUNZIATELLA ORATORY "has been owned by the city since 1494, when it was probably built by Francesco di Bartolomeo da Pietrasanta. Inside one of the most beautiful works by Perugino .... it is the fresco "the Baptism of Jesus". The work was commissioned to the artist by the Foligno family from Merganti. It can also be seen from the family arms, as well as from the municipal lily, site emblems on the sides of the friezes. Very beautiful ...... an "Annunciation" also from the late 15th century; It is precisely from the presence of this work of art that the oratory takes its name .... and known .... Beautiful not to be missed. There are also other interesting frescoes, one of which depicts S. Feliciano. The oratory is a real "gem". The restoration works are finished ...... we are waiting for better times and we advise you to pay a visit ..... you can't ... miss it.
