Caseificio La vecchia Fattoria

It's great to meet an authentic cheese-maker on this small island. The milk comes all from local animals who live on the slopes of the volcano. The cheese is all made using traditional methods using a meticulously clean environment. You can buy the several kinds of delicious cheese in the downtown supermarket or also on other islands, but I highly recommend stopping by the caseificio and having a chat with the friendly owner.

Genial ricotta made from goat's milk, just drop by in the morning until 12 o'clock and you will get the production live. On-site sales (cheaper than in stores).

For years I have not failed to buy the excellent products of this dairy, I recommend trying them all, especially the freshly made ricotta to eat hot on the spot for breakfast

Small family business producing goat cheese and ricotta (which can be tasted on site). We walk past the goats when arriving at the shop, and we can watch the making of the ricotta. Organic producers, who supply the restaurants on the island, and also sell to individuals (vacuuming products on demand). They also make their capers, cucunccis, and malvasia. Better prices than in distribution shops, and above all, top quality and freshness!
