Brewery located on the SS 38 that runs through the Valtellina. Coming from Sodrio, Pintalpina is on the right and it is not so obvious that you see from the street (it is good to trust the navigator).
The brewery is located in a property with a large dirt parking lot. Inside there is a small reception room used as a shop, the warehouse contains a vineyard and some fermenters. The brewery has a large production capacity but is calibrated on the possibilities. It is a social brewery that is part of a cooperative, and the social side is very important. Pintalpina avails itself of the guys and work with disabilities, even if this fact is not ostentatious. The beers are made in collaboration with an external master brewer, who takes care of the recipes and the cooked ones. Well made beers, use of local ingredients where possible, ultra-short supply chain and above all local distribution. There is a general care that ranges from production, graphic design, choice of names until the pleasure of a nice chat with those who work there. Very good!

I met Elisa who accompanied us on the visit. A lot of passion and willingness to share what is not only an entrepreneurial activity but an experience of life, born for social objectives and supported by disabled children emerges immediately. A fine example for everyone, which goes well with excellent beers. Generous final tasting of different beers and purchase of some stocks for the next few weeks! I will certainly keep in touch with this beautiful reality
Visit to the brewery with a detailed explanation of the whole production process and the history of the brewery, Elisa very kind and ready to answer all our questions. The beers are special, very good and original. My favorite is the Sumartì, a saison with rye, but also the Witela, a blanche, and the Sbrega, a double IPA.
Good beer, too bad the company store is open only in the morning
