A train station

Outdoor station near Piazza San Vitale. It would be preferable if it was accessible to everyone, that is, to those who travel with a stroller or to those who have suitcases. It would be perfect if it were accessible by those with a wheelchair, who transports or who need to move regularly. With all the space available there is truly incredible the absence of an elevator or escalators or a ramp, considering the population density of the Fuorigrotta district and the need for a public service such as the underground . It's a shame to have to add the difficulty you find to buy the ticket (when the newsstand is closed out) and the time to print it with the machine inside the station. It would be preferable to adapt the station to the new needs of citizens.

One wonders why it is called this, there is no square with a monument to Leopardi .... and instead .... The stop, of the then very direct, was activated in 1927 and at that time there was a square where the medieval church of San Vitale was erected, in which they found the remains of Giacomo Leopardi, from which Piazza Leopardi. Then, with the road rectification of the area carried out in 1939, both the square and the Church were destroyed and the remains of the great poet were translated into the mausoleum of Virgil. So the square disappeared forever, while the church of San Vitale was rebuilt a few hundred meters further on, in the current wide namesake.

Convenient because for those in the area it allows you to take the metro without getting to piazzale tecchio. But structure without staff, completely abandoned. No disabled service.

As a child I was very good at going back and forth with the train! Since you are not able, can I apply?
