My father, 89, entered rehabilitation at the Medicus of Tivoli because of a pulmonary embolism and deep vein thrombosis. Tomorrow he is discharged and thanks to the staff of the department and physiotherapists my father is standing and takes his first steps after three months of immobility. A special thanks to Dr. Anna Maria Antonini who with her professionalism, attention and humanity has managed in an excellent way the medical case of my father who has not heard only a number because it has been treated with dignity. Always in touch with the family, he helped us with advice and positivity, we never felt alone or worried although the pathologies of dad were very serious. Medicus, how sad! Elderly care leaves much to be desired. Several times I had to solicit staff, because my aunt needed to be changed .... I think of the poor elderly alone ... In comparison the INI of Grottaferrata is a luxury hotel
