Perhaps best beach in Puglia if not Europe. Food at Blue Sun is good quality seafood served on basic plastic plates at bargain prices. The water is crystal clear and sandy bottom goes out for longer than we wanted to venture!

Amazing crystal clear white sandy beach. Our favourite after travelling 2 weeks in Puglia. There are a few beach resorts along this 1-2 km stretch of sandy beach. Blu Sun Beach resort is on the quieter end with mostly young families. 2 beds & umbrella from €18. The restaurant is low key and serves delicious made on order pasta for around €6. Their vongole pasta is simple but delicious. Staff are very friendly and accommodating for non-italian speakers. Basically a lot of finger pointing and laughs over our pronunciation. Highly recommend for young couples and families looking to relax. You can still stand in the ocean 30-40 meters out from the beach. This place is amazing and why we have made this our annual yearly trip from London.
