Church of San Rocco

Beautiful and interesting baroque interior.

The church of San rocco is located in the center of Parma. The last renovation dates back to the 18th century. The facade is in classic 16th century style. The interior has a single nave, with an elliptical plan, with two side chapels. The characteristics that make this church very interesting are: - the paste construction of the prisoners exhibited as a work in a museum; - the chapel on the right with ex-votos; - the size of the church. Free admission.

Quite large even if hidden by the university buildings, but the mass of 19.00 on Sunday is not absolutely lost. Don Umberto creates an atmosphere of serenity and union that remains inside you even when you are at 🏠, even the next day when you wake up. I highly recommend it.

The church of San Rocco is beautiful. Initially entrusted to the Jesuits. Truly decorated with frescoes and works. It is located in the historic center a short distance from the governor's palace. A visit is recommended.

Fantastic church, large and bright. Visited during a wedding where "Eleonora Harp" played, which sweetened the most significant moments of the ceremony.
