The church of Santissima Annunziata is located in the historic center of Parma. The structure dates back to the second half of the 1500s. The facade is imposing, in stone, with the entrance preceded by a portico. The interior has a single nave, with an oval plan, in the mannerist style. The characteristics that make this church unique: - the two chapels on the sides of the entrance, with ex-votos; - the oval plant; - reliefs and stuccos, especially the one on the entrance door; - the side chapels, where to note, the vaults covering the chapels are decorated with coffered; - the cloister (visited at Christmas) where there was a beautiful exhibition of nativity scenes. A church with a completely unusual structure of the internal space. Ellipsoid ceiling and many naves. From the outside, the influence of the Byzantine style of architecture is seen.
